SEPTEMBER'S SIMPLY PAPER DESIGN CHALLENGE....

It's time for another challenge. Where in the world did the month go???? Here is where you can find the challenge details and the design team's projects. This was my entry:

I used the Pretty in Pink cardstock as my base, using my Versamark to add a few flowers for background. Then I layered the Basic Gray, Night of Navy and Rose Red. I used some of my pewter Jumbo Eyelets to loop the satin Pretty in Pink ribbon through. The image is from Of the Earth (retired) and is stamped in all four colors and raised up on dimensionals. This is definitely not a card you would want to mail, with all the layers and hardware, but it is quite pretty in real life (if I must say so myself).

I loved this sketch so much, I also made my hubby a birthday card using it. I used the Jumbo Eyelets (in Antique Brass this time) with the Hemp Twine looped through it. The stamp set is the long retired Wildlife Reserve. The cardstock base is Crumb Cake with Always Artichoke and Soft Suede layers. The image blocks are mounted on Basic Gray squares and raised on dimensionals. The DSP is from the new pack called Well Worn --- great for masculine cards.

Thanks for stopping by and keep an eye out for the next challenge --- the months are flying by, aren't they? It will be Christmas before you know it.

Have a great day!!!!
